Dear Friends,
I’m busy getting ready for the holidays, which entails more shopping, baking and decorating than I can handle . . . but I’m forging on, credit card in one hand, pot holder in the other!
St. Martins Press is doing a beautiful job with my first contemporary novel, “Sugar Daddy,” as you can see from the eye-catching cover. It’s going to be out in March ’07, and to my delight I’m going on a book tour for the first time in years. So I’ll let you know once the stops are finalized, and I hope I’ll be able to see some of you while I’m traveling.
I’m in the middle of polishing the final draft of my next historical novel, also for St. Martins, titled “Mine Til Midnight.” It features the character Cam Rohan, from “Devil In Winter,” and without a doubt he is my sexiest and most charismatic hero ever!
Some of my familiar Wallflower characters will make an appearance in “Mine Till Midnight,” but I’ve also introduced a new family called the Hathaways . . . a group of attractive, eccentric and lovable misfits who had me laughing as I followed them in their adventures. But I think “Mine Til Midnight” is also a very emotional story with a lot of depth, so I hope it will touch your heart as well as make you smile.
Have a wonderful holiday, and be safe as you make merry!
Wishing you happiness always,
Lisa

Dear friends,
This has been the most rewarding year of my career, especially
because of the enthusiasm and support of my wonderful readers.
I was delighted by how well “Devil In Winter” was
received, and I hope those who want to read Daisy’s story
will enjoy “Scandal In Spring” this August.
I’ll be attending the Romance Writers of America conference
at the end of July, and I look forward to seeing friends and
readers in Atlanta. It will be a special treat to visit
with the other five contributors to our Squawk
Radio blog . . .
Liz Bevarly, Connie Brockway, Eloisa James, Teresa Medeiros
and Christina Dodd. We email each other frequently but
we hardly ever get together in person all at the same time.
I have finished my first contemporary novel for St. Martins,
titled “Sugar Daddy”, and writing it was exciting
and challenging, and the best creative experience I’ve
ever had. It will be published by St. Martins Press some time
next year.
In the meantime, I’ve signed a historical contract with
St. Martins, and I’m working on some more Wallflower
novels! This new set of Wallflowers will introduce some
new characters and also include old friends from the first
four books. My current work in progress, (working title “A
Man For All Seasons”) features Cam Rohan, the half-gypsy
croupier from “Devil In Winter”. If you’d
like a sneak peek of his story, please click here.
As always, thank you for your encouragement, which is much
appreciated.
Wishing you happiness,
Lisa
